Deine Aufgaben

Du trägst zur Entwicklung von Softwarekomponenten für mobile Roboter bei, die in dynamischen Lager- und Industrieumgebungen eingesetzt werden.
Deine Arbeit umfasst die Integration von Robotikmodulen, die Erstellung neuer Anwendungen und die Verbesserung bestehender Funktionen in verschiedenen Autonomiestacks von Robotern.
Du testest und bewertest deine Entwicklungen in unserem hauseigenen Testlager und bei ausgewählten Kundenstandorten in enger Zusammenarbeit mit einem Team von Robotik-Experten.
Je nach Deinem Hintergrund können Deine Aufgabenbereiche Roboternavigation, Perception-Pipelines, Objekterkennung oder maschinelles Lernen umfassen.

Dein Profil

Du hast einen Master-Abschluss in Robotik, Informatik, Elektrotechnik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet.
Du hast bereits mindestens drei Jahre Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Software für Robotersysteme.
Du überzeugst durch Deine ausgeprägten Kenntnisse in der Programmierung mit C++ und Python.
Du verfügst über fundierte Kenntnisse in den Grundlagen der Robotik, idealerweise einschließlich Perception, Navigation oder Manipulation.
Du hast eine strukturierte, selbstständige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise.
Du sprichst fließend Englisch; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
Du hast Deine Lösungsansätze in einen Roboter mit Sicherheitssystem integriert.
Pluspunkte gibt es für:
- Erfahrung mit ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Erfahrung in der Mitwirkung an ausgelieferten Robotikprodukten ist von Vorteil.
Die Arbeit wird überwiegend vor Ort erledigt, daher wohnst Du idealerweise in München oder Umgebung.

Your tasks

You will contribute to the development of software components for mobile robots operating in dynamic warehouse and industrial environments.
Your work will span the integration of robotics modules, the creation of new applications, and the improvement of existing capabilities across different robots’ autonomy stacks.
You will test and evaluate your developments in our in-house test warehouse and at selected customer sites, working closely with a team of robotics experts.
Depending on your background, your contributions may include robot navigation, perception pipelines, object detection, or machine learning–driven behaviors.

Requirements

You have a Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
You have already gained 3+ years of experience developing software for robotic systems.
You impress with your strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
You bring a solid understanding of robotics fundamentals, ideally including perception, navigation, or manipulation.
You have a structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
You are fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
You have integrated your solution on a robot with a safety system.
We’ll give you extra points if:
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Experience contributing to shipped robotic products is an advantage.
The job is mostly done on-site, so ideally you live in/close to Munich.
