Robot Hardware QA Engineer (f/m/x)

Your tasks

You work within a wider team of professionals to ensure that the final products meet customer and business expectations while keeping the process as effective and cost-efficient as possible
You set up and test robots prior to shipping to customers.
You analyze, troubleshoot and report defects on Hardware and Software
You improve our testing scripts and methods, on tests performed during production on component level or on functional and performance tests on system level
You support production with finding, investigating and troubleshooting defects
You develop, maintain and prepare demos for showing off our robots

Requirements

You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
You have a good understanding of adjacent disciplines: mechanics, electronics, networks, etc.
You have good knowledge of Linux, Python, ROS.
You have been exposed to procedures for product testing, either by developing tests yourself or by using existing tests.
Fluency in English is required, and basic German skills are helpful
Nice to have:
- Experience with requirements, test cases and test execution documentation
- Experience with debugging electromechanical systems and various sensors (e.g. stereo cameras, time-of-flight, laser)
- Experience with working on production floor environment and test equipment
- Hands-on mentality in tackling complex problems
- Experience with robotic and/or embedded software development
- Exposed to concepts of Quality Eng and Reliability Eng

Deine Aufgaben

Du arbeitest in einem größeren Team von Fachleuten, um sicherzustellen, dass die Roboter den Erwartungen der Kunden entsprechen, während du den Prozess so effizient und kostengünstig wie möglich gestaltest.
Du richtest Roboter ein und testest sie, bevor sie an Kunden ausgeliefert werden.
Du analysierst, behebst und dokumentierst Fehler in Hardware und Software.
Du verbesserst unsere Testskripte und -methoden, sei es bei Tests während der Produktion auf Komponentenebene oder bei Funktions- und Leistungstests auf Systemebene.
Du unterstützt die Produktion bei der Identifikation, Untersuchung und Behebung von Fehlern.
Du entwickelst, wartest und bereitest Demos vor, um unsere Roboter eindrucksvoll zu präsentieren.

Dein Profil

Du hast einen Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss in Robotik, Informatik, Ingenieurwesen oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich.
Du verfügst über ein gutes Verständnis angrenzender Disziplinen wie Mechanik, Elektronik, Netzwerke usw.
Du hast fundierte Kenntnisse in Linux, Python und ROS.
Du hast Erfahrung mit Verfahren für Produkttests, sei es durch die Entwicklung eigener Tests oder die Nutzung bestehender Tests.
Fließende Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich, Grundkenntnisse in Deutsch sind von Vorteil.
Wünschenswert:
- Erfahrung mit Anforderungen, Testfällen und Dokumentation von Testdurchführungen
- Erfahrung im Debugging von elektromechanischen Systemen und verschiedenen Sensoren (z. B. Stereo-Kameras, Time-of-Flight, Laser)
- Erfahrung in einer Produktionsumgebung und mit Testequipment
- Hands-on-Mentalität bei der Lösung komplexer Probleme
