Deine Aufgaben

Als Teil des Perception & Grasping Teams arbeitst du an der Entwicklung und Implementierung von Robotersystemen.

Du arbeitest in enger Zusammenarbeit in einem Expertenteam an der Verbesserung des Manipulations- und Wahrnehmungssystems unserer Roboter
Du entwickelst und optimierst Algorithmen zur Bahnplanung und -ausführung für die Robotermanipulation, um die Geschwindigkeit zu erhöhen und die Fehlerquote zu verringern
Du entwickelst Algorithmen für das Wahrnehmungs- und Manipulationsverhalten der Roboter
Du führst Simulationen und Tests unter realen Bedingungen durch, um die Funktionalität und Effizienz von Robotersystemen zu überprüfen
Du hältst dich über die neuesten Entwicklungen in der Robotik auf dem Laufenden, um sicherzustellen, dass unsere Systeme auf dem neuesten Stand bleiben.

Dein Profil

Du hast deinen Master oder PhD in Robotik, Informatik, Elektrotechnik oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang abgeschlossen
Du hast mehr als 3 Jahre relevante Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Wahrnehmungs- und Manipulationsalgorithmen und im Umgang mit Robotern
Du schreibst produktionsreifen Code in C++ und Python
Deine fundierten Kenntnisse des aktuellen Forschungsstandes im Bereich Bildverarbeitung und Computer Vision sind überzeugend
Du hast Erfahrung in der Einbindung und Kalibrierung verschiedener optischer Sensoren in ein ROS-basiertes System
Idealerweise hast Du
- ... Erfahrung in der Arbeit in einem Team, das Produkte erfolgreich verkauft hat
- ... Erfahrung mit Methoden des maschinellen Lernens
Du sprichst fließend Englisch, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

Your tasks

As part of the Perception & Grasping team, you will work on developing and implementing robotic systems.

You work in close cooperation with a team of experts on improving our robots' manipulation and perception system
You develop and optimize algorithms for trajectory planning and execution for robot manipulation, to improve speed and reduce error rates
You develop algorithms for the robot perception and manipulation behaviors
Conduct simulations and real-world tests to validate the functionality and efficiency of robotic systems
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics to ensure our systems remain cutting-edge

Requirements

You finished your Master or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable studies
You have hands-on experience with robots (ROS)
You have 3+ years of relevant experience developing perception and manipulation algorithms
You have the ability to write production-ready code in C++ and Python
Your in-depth knowledge of the state of the art in image processing and computer vision is convincing
Ideally you have
- … experience working in a team that has shipped products
- … experience with machine learning methods
You are proficient in English, some German knowledge is a plus
